Here are some pics of my progress so far. The mounts I used were from B.G. here on the board and they worked out perfect. I used them in the 1" set back position and the F-body pan clears as well as the alternator, haven't tried the AC yet but it looks like there is plenty of room for it. All of the f-body power steering lines worked as well as the power steering cooler and factory transmission cooler lines bolted right up. The Iceman crossmember worked perfect and the only modification I had to do to the car was remove the factory exhaust heat shield.

Nice, sounds like your setup is similar to mine. I have the same engine plates with the f-body oil pan, and from your pics it looks like my pan has about the same exact clearance as your does. I'm running truck accessories and the bracket w/out a heat/air box too, so I have more engine bay room, but all in all looks like your off to a good start.

Good luck and keep us posted on the progress.

What trans cooler lines did you use?

I used the stock 4th gen f-body lines. They bolted right up to the radiator. Also the f-body power steering cooler works as well, all you have to do is shorten the top hose. I will have some more info and pics later on into the week, does anybody have any idea what kind of fan setup to run? I was thinking about a 3rd gen f-body single fan setup, does anyone know if it will bolt up?

I've been told to use the 4th Gen LS1 F-body fans. I beleive 388bu has the fans and they plugged right into the harness for a nice install.

I'm going to try and find a set for a good price, but right now I'm using the Mark VIII fan with a Derale fan controller, with no complaints.

Yeah i was gonna try the 4th gen fans, my neighbor actually has a spare set. Ran into a problem today, there is a tab on the side of the steering box that was barley touching the alternator, II have read that people have trimmed it back so I cut about 1/4" off of it and now fluid is running out. It's cast iron so I'm not sure about welding it, does anyone think JB weld would work? No even sure why there is fluid there or if that passage way is under any kind of pressure. Any help would be appreciated.

I've installed 2 of the TRZ manual rack kits and that's the ticket-plus it shaves 53 pounds off the front of the car, and makes it really look clean. There's a link to their stuff on the top of the page.
