Got the first tub formed pretty nice and tacked in last night, I'm feeling good about how its turning out so far. Certain spots are a bit troublesome to weld but I'll figure it out.

Is that the OEM collapsible steering shaft with different ends attached?
[/QUOTE
The bigger DD shaft is from an astro van with a new U joint welded on, the other end is 3/4 DD shaft from amazon that i cut to length with a u joint welded on, but if you have a stock gear box and column an astro van shaft should bolt right in and they have U joints on both ends from the factory.

I thought the Astro van shaft would clock the steering wheel 90 degrees. You avoided that issue by welding your own joint on the upper shaft.
not 100% sure on if it clocks it or not, i needed to do the upper to connect to the Motion Raceworks column. and my lower section to have the right splines for a manual gear box

Started mocking up the fuel sump, plan on welding that in this week. 3/4" npt fittings for ALL the fuel.
