Re: lowered a bit much.... now what?

When i still had my malibu , under big bumps it would rub . I cut the plastic inner fender at the top & then install a flap of rubber over top of it . That solved the problem.

Re: Need Help Selecting a Front Spring

I would say the 5664 unmodified should fix the problem & help firm up the ride a bit . I've run them in both of my cars & really like them . Firm without being harsh .

with the engine in , your front suspension should have come down . Are the front springs a higher rate ? Are they installed (the springs) correctly ?

Re: tires and wheels

Once you lower the car , that will affect how much room you have to fill with wheel & tire . All g body's are not created equally in rear wheel well tubs . 17's have a good selection of tire sizes & 18's have even more . On my cutlass ,that has been lowered 2" all the way around , I went with a 17x8...

Re: $300 Rear Disc Conversion for 7.5" 3-bolt

How about this kit & use the eldorado 78-85 rear caliplers that allow you to still have a e brake . When using the eldy calipers , make sure to always apply the ebrake or they will sieze . http://www.daymotorsports.com/product/1762/7.5-GM-DISC-BRAKE-KIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;...

Re: Moog 5413 rear springs

I think it looks good , replace the front springs with better ones & drop spindles & you'll be a hppy camper @ how well it takes corners . My car handles quite well with the drop & 17's .

Re: moog 5660 or 5662

I did the 5660 & IMO are way too soft , the front tires 245/45/17 rub alot . I wish I had gone with the 5664 spring like I did in my previous malibu .
