Re: Roller cam/lifters

Are they solid roller lifters? All solid lifters are noisier than hydraulic flat tappets. I have also heard of complaints about Morel Hydros ticking, but no reports of them failing.

63 is "Camel Poly". My car is 69, "Medium Camel Poly". There was no 62 , "Dark Camel Tan" for 1980.

Re: Shutting down MalibuRacing

Oh, boy. I will also be sad to see it go away, but I completely understand. Unfortunately, I don't posess the knowledge to take things over, or I would. First and foremost, my thanks to Phillip for all the great work he's done over the years. Secondly, thanks to everyone else that has given time, mo...

X2. Everybody goes for the Eaton, but the Auburn Pro series has much higher torque biasing.

Re: cooling the Bu

If you overheat on the highway, three things come to mind:
1. No chin spoiler
2. No upper cover between the radiator and the grille
3. Shround on the electric fans may be restrictive.

Re: factory 8.5 30 spline posi?

Truetracs are kind of weird. Most gear style limited slip diffs are. They sometimes growl or make funny noises, they sometimes make the car feel loose or move around when you lift off the gas in a corner. My new STi has a gear diff in the back and it does the same things as all lthe other gear diffs...

Re: Speedometer cable question

I'm putting a cruise control in the 78 and need to shorten the speedometer cable. What is the best option, to shorten the cable I have, buy a cable for the length I need, or buy a kit and make my own? You can get a new cable set. https://www.dixierestorationdepot.com/Product/Detail.aspx?s=DM90003" ...

I can get the clock w/tach part numbers, but I can't find any bracket part numbers.

5659708- Clock, w/tach, V6

5659709- Clock, w/tach, V8
