If you're putting it on a 4door or wagon, it can probably be made to work.
I do believe the later model 2dr has different body lines from the front of doors back.

Re: Paint design?

Your car. It's about what you want.

But, since you asked, I'm for all one color. Keep the stock chrome.
No stripes, flames or such.
Lots of prep. Clean and simple.
A quality finish.
JMHO.

Thank God they don't put ash trays in the cars now.
Finding the gaskets for those things is getting next to impossible. ](*,)

They are NEVER finished.

You can however, find a place where you enjoy the ride more than the work.

A GREAT place when you get there.

Re: What did U do to your G-body today??

Almost finished with console, want to add 1 or 2 things but came out perfect. I must have taken this thing in and out 100 times!! I am really happy with it. The smallest details make the difference between a good ride and a great ride. Console looks well designed and purposeful. Impressive. 8) bukw...

Re: 83 wagon 2-door conversion

For the Nomad look, I would graft the wagon roof to an El Camino. Use a wagon tailgate. Just seem to make a lot more "structual strength sense" to me. No doors to weld shut. No quarters to graft on and no windshield A post issues. Here's a link to an image of what you are thinking. You decide: http:...

Re: Fiberglass Hood bowing

I would create some sandbags heavy enough that when placed at the highest point of the bend, they would "flatten" the hood back to the desired shape. Carefully placed across the hood, not just on the edges, to remove the total bend. Might take a while but it may work. :-k Leave the hood on the car w...

Re: what 3.8 do i have

If you can find a late 70's early 80's Big body Buick with the 252 V6, you just might find a 4 bbl intake that will also fit the 231.
Factory and heavy but a 4 bbl none the less.
Edelbrock used to have a cam/intake package for this engine as well.
