Re: Door Interchange for A/G Body cars ***Sticky?***

Anybody have an idea if the early Cutlass and Regal doors interchange? Yes the late Cutlass and Regal doors do interchange. Just be mindful of the "wide" stainless trim on the bottom. If your car doesn't have this and the used door does, you will have some holes to weld up from the molding retainers.

Re: best way to fix this? (quarter window channel rot)

Fantastic job! Metal work is so rewarding & gets the creativity flowing. All rust is different so no fix is exactly the same.

I keep old fenders, floor pans, door skins around for just such a situation where you need a small piece like you did.

Re: looking for 78-79 header panel

I have one here in Maryland but not interested in shipping it. If you come up this way we can work something out. I usually attend Spring Carlisle but that's 3 hours farther north.

Re: Any chance anybody knows a good sage green substitute?

Have a body shop mix you a pint or quart of the original green for the inside. Not sure about other paint manufacturers but the Dupont vinyl (semi gloss) was sprayed with no activator or reducer. As for the seats, cozy up with a good upholstery shop. We have one near here in Dover De and he has lots...

Re: rear passenger doors on wagons

What's really funny is if the car had power windows, the rear vents were power as I recall.
Still can't get over the engineer's passing these cars with the main glass on the rear doors fixed. Still like the cars regardless.
