    Went to a local car show and saw a new malibu there, turns out he lives about 6 houses away from me. Car hasn't been on the road in 13 years

    got the wagon out and changed the oil, hopefully the overnight charge recovers the battery, if not, then i'll be making another trip to the parts store tomorrow.

    Chris, can't wait to see the car this year! First show at papa Gino's is this Friday, hopefully I'll have the wagon there. Got dads car ready today, oil change and new shocks, sorry, no pics.

    replaced the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel system for my nitrous also figured out the problem with my solenoids. its been so long since I worked on the car, I forgot I put a fuse block behind where the radio used to be. new plate required a larger fuse. replaced the fuse, problem solved...

    hey, just picked up a SOLID 35mm front swaybar from ST suspensions on craigslist for $75, complete with all the hardware and a brand new pair of shocks.     Grand national rear in a 1979 malibu

    its a direct swap, except the driveshaft has to be 1" shorter. if you can get the driveshaft from the donor car, that should be 1" shorter. that's what I did for the 8.5" that was in my 2 door before the dana 60, and also what I did for my station wagon.

    lowered the front of Dads car by cutting 1 coil (he wanted to do this, no $$ spent)off his springs, lowered it 2" in the front, now it doesn't look like a gasser

    I'm going to convert the trans to a mechanical speedo, don't want to run extra wires, and converting isn't much more than the cost of the box. Anyone relocate the shifter on a stock t-56? This has taken a back seat until I finish putting the 2 door back together

    finally had some time, started pulling stuff off the engine from the 2 door so I can replace the oil pan and timing chain gasket. found 1 issue so far, i'll start a thread in the gallery later.

    ordered the clutch kit and new hydraulics, just have to convert to manual speedo setup and decide if i am going to relocate the shifter or notch my bench

    i've picked up a few parts recently. grabbed a manual pedal setup, and swapped my john bzdel clutch pedal in. all is good except the bushings on the brake pedal need to be replaced, a little too worn for my liking. anyone know where i can pick these up? i looked into a shifter relocation kit...
