    Low mount AC compressor?

From everything I've read, and looking at my own car, I think you can use the factory low mount AC if you're installing the engine in the forward position, but if installed as most do with the 1" set back plates then major mods would have to be done to clear the engine cradle.

So confused on a return system pluming

I'm also wanting to switch to EFI from my carb set up. I currently have 1/2" aluminum line run to the front with 8an fittings at all points. How could I plumb in this Vette filter assy and would it still flow enough fuel as needed for a turbocharged application in the 600rwhp-700rwhp range.

    Spherical control arm bushings

I used them in my 12 bolt a few years back, no problems went right in. They will also fit the factory lower control arms as well .

    400plus hp ls Ideas?

I went carb on my new 6.0L for the simple reason it will be much cheaper to get it going, but planning on swapping out to fuel injection once I get the rest of the car ironed out. I would recommend looking at the Daytona Sensors control for the ignition and a Megasquirt to run the ignition. You...

BBC to 6.0L LS swap help.

Just found out my new BBC with only 25 min of run time has cut 7 lobes off the cam, frustrated and thinking about going to an LS engine. Trying to weigh the cost of fixing my new engine versus swapping to an LS. Friend has a 105k mi iron 6.0L from a 200-2001 2500 truck, engine is complete with...

"How-to"--add Keyless Entry using GM parts--

Very nice write up. I see your car has the factory power door locks, but I'm guessing this could also be made to work with with aftermarket lock actuators .

My 6.2 Swap into 80 Malibu

On the rear bumper...just wondering what you mean instead of drilling the holes you notched it. Are you referring to notching the Heads Up bumper in some way, or the flange on the car. Thanks again!

My 6.2 Swap into 80 Malibu

Love your build, car is coming out nice. Wish I had gone LS on my car instead of my BBC. I too have he Heads Up Composites front and rear bumpers but haven't installed them yet. Are they easy to install, and did you have to reinforce them at the mounting points.

Garage door opener in the visor!!!

You can also buy an aftermarket kit to install the homelink system either in the headliner or the visor. I think we pay our upfitter about $300 installed at the dealership!

Everyone post your wheel and tire combo.

When using std drum brakes, the 4.5" bs 8" wide wheel usually is ok with up to a 255/60 street tire, but a 275/60 will usually rub the frame. If you are using a stock length rear with iron brake drums then an 8" wide wheel 4" bs should be great. Keep in mind if using the factory aluminum...

That makes me feel better, lol! I had 15x8 w/ 4" bs and with 275 drag radial was all into the fender lip . I sold those and bought a set of the summit wheels 15x8 a/ 4.5" but haven't had time to bolt them on yet. I have a similar set up with a GN 8.5 rear but have Gbody calipers and S10 rotors...

First off that looks killer and really surprised that you have that 275 rear tire tucked so well. I didn't see it mentioned in the post so I have to ask is your car frame notched and mini tubbed? Again, looks killer!

summit drag-thrust FITMENT ON 83 MALIBU WAGON

4.5 bs is the one you will have to use, and the 255/60 will be tight clearance on the frame but should work ok. I've had ok luck with using a 205/70 on the front with the 4" wide wheel, but the correct tire to use would be 165/80.

    15x10 5.5 backspacing

That's wrong backspace if using an A body rear! The A body rear is approx 3" longer than a G body rear. With the A body rear and a 10" wide wheel 5.5" backspacing you wil have problems with fender lip clearance or contact. If you don't have the frame notched and mini tubbed you need to stay...

What A-arms and coil overs to get. A little confused

It is my understanding that to do the S10 Blazer brake upgrade you have to use everything S10 Blazer from the Spindle outwards, i.e. Spindles, wheel hubs, calipers, and hoses.
