ACC and Trim Parts both make carpet..ACC is the way to go the colors match better and there customer service is on point..and a major plus is they've got this girl and the way she says "buh bye" makes me wanna move south dancin_banana.gif
So I assemble alot of gauge clusters for work and plan on building my own shortly for the malibu, I have started to hate the company I get my harnesses from. I am really good at wiring, what I want to know is this do they make connectors to go from say 6 pins to 1 almost like a gm radio harness...
I agree with rodney take a step back..throw a blanket over the thing and dont look at it for a week or so you started it for a reason didnt ya?
oh and another thing
if youre not married to that woman do it now..any woman who yells at you not to sell it off when youre freaking out is a keeper.
I figured that..the plan is 12 bolt once I find one thats affordable but I thought why not practice on this one if I destroy it im not horribly worried.
Is it rocket science? I can cut,Welding isnt my strong point but Im friends with a bunch of fab guys so its huge deal. Its only an 8.2 so I really dont want to sink 900 into a rear and new wheels that probably isnt permanent.
Wasnt there a guy here who did his own vinyl top? has anyone ever done one? I can order the pre-cut material through work for pretty cheap. Local shop wants 600 with me doing any metal work.
so I am only buying wheels once, I plan on running z06 brakes so that pretty much leaves me with 18's I found a set of 18*8 and 18*9.5 for 600 with freight so I just wanna know who else runs them I know ive seen a few of them just cant remember who.
There leaking..not really bad but its a rebuilt drivetrain (ive got 4 years into this car) and I am NOT letting it leak I didn't use teflon tape or anything like that should I have?
any tips here?
So Im pretty sure I just found a set of NOS bucket seat backs but I cant find any results on the part number 20520743 so any help would be great.. and yes they will be for sale soon. If i don't use them to make repops.
Thanks
Rob
redid the brakes, painted a bunch of things got a new master cylinder and booster installed and tried to fire it up again..but my dad said the cops didnt like noise at 1130 on a sunday night.
Yes I know the garage is a mess..
Please tell me there is a trick to getting these things on? I've done them before but I really dont remember having this much of a hassle maybe because the last rear I did was on jackstands and not in a car..drove me nuts last night..
any tips?
Rob
