So I assemble alot of gauge clusters for work and plan on building my own shortly for the malibu, I have started to hate the company I get my harnesses from. I am really good at wiring, what I want to know is this do they make connectors to go from say 6 pins to 1 almost like a gm radio harness...

Is it rocket science? I can cut,Welding isnt my strong point but Im friends with a bunch of fab guys so its huge deal. Its only an 8.2 so I really dont want to sink 900 into a rear and new wheels that probably isnt permanent.

Wasnt there a guy here who did his own vinyl top? has anyone ever done one? I can order the pre-cut material through work for pretty cheap. Local shop wants 600 with me doing any metal work.

so I am only buying wheels once, I plan on running z06 brakes so that pretty much leaves me with 18's I found a set of 18*8 and 18*9.5 for 600 with freight so I just wanna know who else runs them I know ive seen a few of them just cant remember who.

There leaking..not really bad but its a rebuilt drivetrain (ive got 4 years into this car) and I am NOT letting it leak I didn't use teflon tape or anything like that should I have? any tips here?

Please tell me there is a trick to getting these things on? I've done them before but I really dont remember having this much of a hassle maybe because the last rear I did was on jackstands and not in a car..drove me nuts last night.. any tips? Rob

I tried looking at local places like joanne fabrics, I was just going to shape my own but that stuff is 75 dollars a yard..little too much for my wallet so what are my options? Thank You Rob

Has anyone gotten one to fit with a stock wheel well? I have an A body rear in the car and dont want to tub or notch the frame and 15*10 is much easier to find than a 15*8. any thoughts or tips are appreciated.

what are you guys using for wheel sizes with your 12 bolt? im picking up a 68 rear in a few days and just looking for suggestions ive seen everything from 5.5 to 6.5 so im mostly just curious and if you can post a picture or include what brand wheel your using i would seriously appreciate it...
