I would also check the intake gasket...........could be sucking oil in from lifter valley if the gasket is bad.........worth checking it out...........have seen that before..........

I would assume it's an automatic,i would check the vac. modulator on the trans......engine vac. could suck trans fluid through the intake and cause smoke..........also check your pcv valve...................check the simple stuff first...........

first is the difference front to back or side to side?......i had similar troubles,but i also used adjustable upper and lowers...................

well with the info you gave and with out flow numbers on the heads,here it is............................362 hp at 5500 rpm and 393 ft tq at 4000..........best i could do with the data you gave me..........hope it helps ken

up the carb to a 750 with a 1 inch open spacer first....with those gears and converter you may be running out of steam at the top end with that manifold...i personaly like the vic. jr or the team g myself for top end power with alot of revs.......you did not give the specs on your current...

it would help greatly to know what set up you have.....i.e small block or big block,cubic inch,cam ignition and timing,intake manifold and so on..........you have different air bleeds for the different circuts in the carb.......idle,main,power valve.....however i would check for vac. leaks and...

is there a reason you used the torker two(like hood clearance)?i would have gone with a vic jr or a weiand team g with a 4 hole 1 inch tappered spacer.....the spacer will help your booster signal in the lower end and lengthen the runners for a better mid and top end......with a little bit more...

ok i was under the impression that you had a rotating assembly..... i.e crank rods and pistons.......if you have these you should check to see if it is a external or internal kit.......or was it all bought seperate...........if you are looking for a internal balanced kit,eagle has inexpensive...

i used a set of solids for a f body.........worked out well for my big block swap............if your not sure of the holes to use in the frame,you can bolt them to the motor and lower it in and mark the holes.....then lift the motor and install the frame mounts......at least you will know where...

first i'll say......... welcome fellow malibu owner........now that said,a 350 turned 383 is a great build and will give you more than enough power to show off a bit .........and perform very well at the drags too.....a studed two bolt would more than survive as a 383,however another option...

it is a common problem for the end of the bolt to break off inside the pinion pin.....aka spider gear pin.........the bolt will only have about a half inch of threads and the rest will be a 1/8 th inch round pin you need to make sure the whole bolt came out................also the spider gear...
