i need to pull an axle out of my 12 bolt that has c clip eliminators. Do I just remove the 4 bolts in the flange and pull the axle? Can I do it without removing the diff cover? Thanks in advance
Holy cow that is terrifying!!!! Glad you're alright!!!! I'm no expert but do you have any sort of retainer around the push rod? I know sometimes the pedal will return faster than the piston and if there is no retainer it can drop out.
I've finally started working on my car a little bit after many years. I will be using an electric fuel pump ( no boss on block) and a carburetor with a bypass regulator. What is the best way to wire this? Should I use the Holley oil pressure switch so it is only on when there is oil pressure...
Great to have it back!!! I don't visit here as often as I used to due to life keeping me way to busy. Hopefully just sidelined for now. Thanks for the effort!
I realize this is an old thread but does anyone have e the pictures from this original post? They are no longer visable thanks to photo bucket. Also anyone have any pictures of where they mounted the relays??? Thanks in advance!
I am repairing some rust on my core support. The patch piece will overlap another piece just like it did from the factory. I am wondering what is the best method to prevent this from rusting? Should I paint it with that through primer then weld the patch in? Or my second option was to paint it...
I don't think I have ever seen this car on Malibu Racing until today and I am glad I found it! I recognized your car instantly because I watched it run up at WIR on Friday night. I loved watching the car run and was happy to see it in the pits with the hood off. I stopped by to ask you a couple...
I am considering using SEM Hot Rod Black paint on a budgit project and was looking for someone that has had experience with it. I am new to spraying paint and am trying to learn as I go along. I definitely have no intentions of painting anything show worthy. Can this paint be applied over epoxy...
not sure about on your car but on mine the one that ran up the passenger side was the feed line and the one that went down the drivers side went to the charcoal canister for the emissions stuff
Hey benchseatracin I have a question for you. What type of brakes do you have on your car? Disk and drum or disk and disk? Are you using the master that came from sragracebrakes/ steel concepts? Did you need to move the rod on the pedal? Thanks in advance! I appreciate any help
I have a question for the people that have used these arms in the past. I just go tmine in the mail today and have a question. The stock arms seemed to have a big drop from the mounting point to the ball joint location. The speedway arms are straight across, with no drop. Is this right? Are they...
I was just doing a follow up on this post because I am thinking of using these arms also. Has anybody else bought and used these? Anybody come up with a idea for a bump stop?
OI would love to do the 12 front brake conversion but the price of the upper control arms keeps going up and up and is now way out of my league. Especially after you buy all the other needed parts. I am currently rebuilding my front suspension. As long as I have everything apart I was wondering...
What ball joint does it use? The factory one???
Are these a direct replacement for the stock arms? Does it change the geometry of the suspension at all? You cant beat the price of them, thats for sure!!!
I am considering switching to manual brakes in my Monte Carlo SS. My cam does not give me sufficient vaccum with the power brakes. They work good most of the time but you never know what could happen. ( for example, if I am sitting at a sto sign, take off and then need to stop imedietely I can...
