so the cruise(which works) and lock up are powered from the same source, have you check to see if there's any power @the trans? i.e the other end of the circuit.
i can't help but wonder if there's an underlying issue with the gauge cluster/or something within the car that's doing this.it's reading true @the battery and all.
yes, that's the idea any how,if it reads low pull it out and have it checked @ the part store before buying another one.they have a machine that replicates running the alternator in a car.the last thing i want is you buying a pricy part on my advise.
yes,it will be a large/single wire with a ring termineral crimped onto it and it should be attached to a stud via a small nut.anywhere from 13 volts or higher indicates a charging alternator.
is it a round loop or an oval one? those round ones run real tight.I'm running an oval one and it's a better fit.have you checked the angles at all in relation to the driveshaft or with the suspension loaded is the shaft coming outta the trans relatively straight or is it angling down more than...
barring the newfound dead battery issue, use the meter to see if there's power @the square plug that runs the lock up when being powerd by that same cruise control circuit.if there's no power there but the cruise control works then it's another issue.
yes that one fuse will provide power for two draws but if it's to much for the circuit the fuse would blow. so if you had two things plugged into one circuit and only one was working i'd look to the item that wasn't working.are you fimilar with a test light? that would help you along with an answer
