Seems like the proportioning valve is too much bias toward the front. The frt brakes are locking up much too easily. Has anyone out there have a similar problem and could verify that it's the proportioning valve? Thanks

Guess the solution was common knowledge. Definitely got my attention when the key was turned to "off" and the starter kept spinning.

Checking it out last evening, the wiring by both the starter and ign switched looked okay. The terminal back up and the starter still working fine. Be removing the starter this weekend, thinking that there's a solenoid problem.

Thanks for the pic. Correct it is a tilt wheel. Appears that the same amount of disassembly is required as if the directional switch assembly was being replaced.

Find that the cam used in the ZZ series crate mtrs is acceptable with AC. I use the stock solenoid that raises the rpms when the compressor is engaged. The solenoid should be used with whatever cam is used.
