I did use the drop spindles and springs, worked out great. What springs do you have in the rear?

I installed 2" drop springs in the front of my 80 Malibu with a ls1 and it does not seem to be enough! The car still sits up high in the front. What kind of difference will 2" drop spindles make? I am not happy with the drop in the front at all. The rear was 1" drop springs and it looks great!

I am removing the trans because of the the 2nd gear syncho. I will just remove the trans, sounds like it's easier.

I am having issues with my t56 grinding going into 3rd gear, would it be easier to seperate the trans from the bellhousing to pull it that way or just pull the bellhousing and trans together?

What kind of power steering hoses do you use for this swap? Did anyone use the fbody power steering cooler? Can I use any hose for the return and use malibu hose for the pressure?

putting a sound system and gauges and sell my cowl hood and get a bolt on hood, I hate my lift off hood!!! I will probally wait to do performance stuff till summer.

I am looking for console to use on ls1 t56 swap. Can I make a f-body console work or do i need to try to find a gbody one? Thanks

I recenty put a ls1 in my malibu and now my car sits about 3" higher in the front that it used to with my old 355. The car has v6 springs under it already. What can i do to get this thing back down in the front? Thanks

Did you break the switch off to get it out of the engine or did you have to buy a special socket.

I am interested in the fitting you used for the oil pressure and water temp and where do the go on the motor.
