I have a 79 regal, does any one have any ideas or have done a custom gauge cluster for one, this is what am starting with.

So this year i wont be able to afford a new motor so cleaning up the 229 stock motor is my best bet, so i emailed summit in ways to get rid of the computer controlled carb and what not. He said that a intake from a 1985 4.3 v6 would fit. Is this true i don't want to waste time and money! :-k

I have a 81 malibu with the 229 motor and want a different carb, thats not electric controlled, what can i use? i know there isnt any after market intakes that i can find, or is there??
