I do have a 30 spline posi with aftermarket moser axles. My posi came out of a mid 90s caprice witch do have 30 spline axles. I'm just wondering if they made any better posi units that are factory?

Did GM ever make a good factory 30 spline 8.5 posi. i think my factory auburn has finally went.

Finally found a gn rear for the rustabu and installed it last sunday. kinda feels a little slower with the 3.42 gears. I hope it don't slow down my time slips at the track..

Is it possible that the gasket only goes on one way or the they use different gaskets?

Well i got some from a cutlass and it seems they dont sit right on the car. Its like ther angled wrong.

Is all the g body door mirrors the same or are they different from car to car.

I drove the old girl to work today. Its one of the last good days were gonna have for awhile.

I made it to the dragstrip on sunday and made two passes. Went a 13.59 on motor and 12.60 on the nitrous. It was a fun day we had a blast.

Trying to fix the horn on my 81 malibu but cant find the relay. Does anyone know where it is?

Got the rustabu out from its parking spot for the winter and put some new/used tires my boss gave me on her. Also put a new alt bracket on the motor

Thanks for the replies guys. I called the place i got the tubing from to see how much pressure it would take and they said it would take that pressure. Bent up some lines last night and worked out great. \:D/

I plan on changing my trans lines and was wondering if i could use aluminum tubing?

Had to drive the rustabu to work today. Too nice of a day not too.

Just did this to my bu acouple of weeks ago to install nitrous bottle brackets. Couldnt get the straps back up there. Turns out there was a 2x4 on top of the tank we where using to prevent the drill bit from hitting the tank. took it out and bam it fits again.

I would drive it around some more and see what the gauge does.
