Some progress being made on the car, can’t ever give up no many how many times you may fail!

Officially got the body swapped onto the new frame. Didn’t think I’d be doing this process twice lol

Been a while but I’ve started with a fresh frame I just picked up with a bunch of work done to it, tried to get the old frame straight and it didn’t work out so going to be starting fresh but there will be a bunch of progress on this cad again shortly!

Well had some horrible luck first pass at the track about a month ago, went 11.72 @ 117mph first pass off the trailer and the car lost brakes and went off the end of the track and into the woods, frame is bent pretty good, lots of dam he to be repaired but the car is fixable and is in the works now.

We’ll it’s been a few months since I’ve posted any updates on the car, but I took it for the first drive around the block the other day, I’ve been hustling everyday to get it to this point, still have a lot of work left to do but this is a huge step in the right direction.

Been a little bit since I’ve had an update, been trying to chip away and some rust repair and other body work, also welded some an fittings to my rad for the cooling system, making some progress slowly, been crazy busy with work and Christmas stuff lately

got the front bumper fit up.

Found a deal locally on a set of down right racing fiberglass bumpers, got the rear one mocked up, still need tweaking, but for fiberglass parts it is a decent fit so far with minimal effort.

No I bought it used, had a th350 yoke on it I removed

Drove about 6 hours total yesterday to pick up this 4" aluminum drive shaft for the car, just need to get a yoke and girdles and that will be crossed off the list.

Got some carpet for the car and started putting some of the interior in, trying to figure what I have and what's missing, also deciding what's actually going back in the car and what's staying out. Definitely need to pain all these tan pieces black.

had to drill and tap my block for low mount alternator bracket, also got line lock and proportioning valve installed, just need to run a few more lines and get some fittings and brake system will be complete.

that sucks, what's the game plan?

I just like that style, and it will be a track car where you are required to have your window up anyways.

Made the drivers side exhaust up last night, happy with how it turned out, gonna work on the passenger side tonight

trans cooler installed, rear wheels finally got here after two months, also prepped the windshield perimeter to get some glass back in there soon.
