Why is breaking in a Cam so bad with Ceramic coated headers ? is it the heat ? It was a PTA removing the headers, installing factory exhaust manifolds then after the cam is broke in reinstall the headers .

Does anyone know or have an idea why Chevrolet used different front air dam to help cool the radiator, I think the 1978 and 1979 use a longer and wider one then the 1980 trough 1987 ? Also has one been proven to do a better job at cooling ?

Felt go to drive the 78 El camino ( didn't drive it at all last year). It towed my 4X8 trailer with mowers with no problem. The Motor ran about 180 with a 160 thermostat. I have the electric fans that come on at 205 and off at 195.
