How did this come about?

They may be the same style brackets, but if they are welded even a quarter inch off, the sway bar won't fit.

Can you still run a factory type rear sway bar? How about the lower shock mount alignment?

I have a moser bolt in, in my car and the sway bar no longer fits and the shocks are very compromised on the housing mount. I would love to swap housings for one that actually fits correctly. Sounds like the strange might be the way to go. Chris

I have had all these parts for years. Installed and uninstalled and back again and again and again. By all my measurements, the tail housing is 2 inches low when I jack it all the way against the floorpan. Every one I have read about says they fit with a little massaging but I don't see it.
