Frame notch, bracing, re-welded seams, epoxy primer and ceramic chassis paint. Frame is done!

Shorted the 4 bolts for my C5 caliper adapters so the PABs don't hit. Ordered some more parts. :?

500 bucks, not cheap for sure. I wonder if that kit is tall enough for the wagon tank?

Doober, the BOP wagon had a Buick Dash in it at first, I pulled the Pontiac dash out of the Malibu wagon. The GP ductwork was different than the Buick at least. I can't remember if it was different that the Chevy, the defrosters were I think though (memory sucks, too many blows to the head)...

I was looking into the universal kit, it will take some fab, but if you can fab stuff up, it is no biggie. I have a GP dash, so it would require some custom ductwork anyway.

Holy crap that is pricey! :shock: I would love to have one of these, over the 20 year tech that is in there now.

I have been ordering parts, and standing in the garage looking at it till my fingers get numb. I am anxiously waiting for some 50+ degree weather.

Got back to working on the Buick wagon these past few days. Got it turned around, Buick front clip pulled off, Olds front clip hung for test fitting. Pulled the DS rear glass, stripped the paint off the quarter for rust repair/bodywork.

I would get to know the car before romping on it under 1/4 tank. My wagons are injected, and any hand accelerating/braking/cornering under 1/4 tank, even with a back/bottom feeding competition engineering sump, would suck air. The AFR would go through the roof and most times the car would...

Gonna go and modify the frame you have then? I can't help you with the powder coat removal. How about blasting?
