    qp 9" shock mounting issues

I bought my QP 9" second hand so I just dealt with the problem and didnt contact them. It would be interesting to hear exactly what QP says. Do they deny the problem? Offer any solution at all?

Any big hardware store should have them. Heres an example in case any one isnt familiar with what I was talking about (the link is for a pack of 50 FYI)- http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F67LXW/?tag=maliburacing-20

I dont have any pictures handy, but I used 2 wedge washers to correct the angle. What does QP say when you ask them about this?

    Gasket match, er no?

With talk of reversion on single plane EFI intakes, should I open this intake up to match my 1206 head ports? Even though I've cleaned up a few heads and intake manifolds, I'm by no means a "natural" when it comes to this kind of thing. Normally I leave a small lip around the intake's port...

    engine problem

Liquid filled gauges are notorious for reading low once warmed up. I fought a low fuel pressure problem for a long time, and with the advice of another member here I "burped" the gauge when it was reading low. Just like magic the fuel pressure jumped back up to normal. There should be a little...

Car sounded good, but I'm not sure I understand why we need to play the guessing game on its output.

The real way to determine proper primary and collector size?

Raising this post from the dead. Mike, you have any other pictures of the headers? Possibly with them off the car? Anybody else have input on this topic?

The real way to determine proper primary and collector size?

Thanks for the pictures. I edited my post before I saw yours! :D The #1 and #2 tubes look better designed than the Dynatechs, much better for plug wire clearance! If you could get those other measurements at your leisure, that would be great too. Nice looking powerplant BTW, whats it run?

The real way to determine proper primary and collector size?

If it wouldnt be too much trouble, I would like to see some pictures Mike. Did you have to ding ANYTHING on the headers to properly fit them? Dynatech also has a set of 1 3/4 x 3 headers for our cars in a circle track application. I know the 1 5/8 Dynatech circle track ones fit, just not sure...

The real way to determine proper primary and collector size?

Hey Big M, My car is mainly a street cruiser. In 2005 I made it to the track once, and 2006 never put the car on the track. Its just that when I go, I like to make respectable numbers. :) My exhaust is a 3" full mandrel X-pipe system with Dynomax Ultra Flo mufflers and Monte SS style tailpipes...
