Does any one know what size hole is on the stock wagon fuel tank? I have a fuel pump from a 02 silverado, and wanted to know if I could use it for my 5.3 swap. if any one has any info on the stock fuel tank size dimensions it would be much appreciated. The part number is 19153711.

That was a thought, I like it better because I dont have to spend any more money. The other thought was it's out of the car right now and easier to work on.

My Sister wrecked my Dad's 02 Silverado and 90% of the time he was driving 60miles one way to work Mon-Fri on a high way. Not sale given, lol. I orginaly planed for a BBC but it's hard to turn down a free LSx based engine.

If I am getting a used 5.3 how many miles should it go before rebuild. Has 170k on it now and 90% of is highway time. 5% City and 5% towing a boat. thoughts?

Yes, also the 6l90e is larger, and has the double overdrive. The 6l90e I think is also rated at like 550hp.

Will the g-body wagon swallow a whole big block and 4l80e? With out having to take and hammer the tunnel out. I see alot of posts involving the 4l60e, but not too many on this one.

Anyone have any experience with the 7.4l L29 intake? Flow numbers stuff like that? I am at a toss up of either the L29 or the Airizona Speed and Marine Intake. I am just wondering what would be better for a force induction motor.
