12 Bolt quick install posible?

Just wondering if its possible to force the factory control arms in and use them as a temp set up just to roll the car around the shop with the 12bolt set-up in it... The 12bolt is out of a 71 Chevelle and I already have the 5.5" BS wheels..

Would like to know asap as I plan on starting in a few hours...

Yes, more so if the bushings are mushy.

I drove one for 5 years like that. When I took it out the bushings was killed!
