I have installed a 12 bolt out of a 69 chevelle. With solid lower arms I cannot get the bolts to line up with the arms. If I take out the solid arms and use the factory rubber bushed ones they fit but rearend is off (thrust line) I have tried installing lakewood lift bars had to fight to get these in and the brackets where at different angles and thrust line still was off. I saw that the Southside machine bars where left right sensitive so I tried swapping them and they are still off. any suggestions would be appreciated

x3 & why on earth would you use solid bushings on a triagulated 4 link? The suspension probably won't move at all.

I have the swap arms for the uppers. On the lowers I have tried the solid bushed ones that came with the uppers. which dont line up and I have also tried the Lakewood lift bars however the lift bar brackets are at different angles and I didn't want to weld them or drill holes if the are not correct on both sides.

You should use lower control arms with spherical rod ends to allow for the mis-alignment of the angles of the bars between the 12 bolt and stock G-body chassis.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impresision that the only difference between the 7.5 and 12 bolt was the upper arm monting points and that the lowers were the same. I bought the Lakewood lift bars to help with the IC. A guy at our local track suggested them when using a 12 bolt. I now have two sets of lower arms that wont work. The arms I originally bought were a complete 12 swap kit from Iceman.

I wanted to give an update on progress. Installed a set of Spohn lower control arms that have poly bushings in the front and Delsphere type hiems joints in the back, they are also adjustable. Bolted right in with no trouble and I was able to adjust them to get the thrust angle to zero! Thanks for all the help.
