When I did my conversion from power to manual, I changed both front calipers and the rubber hoses as a precaution. Cheap and easy to change.

The original front calipers had really small bleeder screws with almost no room to put a clear plastic hose.

The replacement calipers (20 bucks) have much larger bleeders and room to put the bleeder hose.

Quick way to bleed system is to use two bottles, two plastic hoses and two wrenches. Then you can move from side to side quick.

Leave the cover off the master cylinder, put a few rags under and behind in case the pedal pusher is a bit quick on the initial pedal push. At the initial pedal push there is a fluid from the front of the mc shooting up and back if not careful.

The best way to do the front brakes is to remove the front wheels so you can turn each wheel in a direction to facilitate the use of a wrench.

Did not have to bench bleed mc and did not have any problems.

Having a patient wife was helpful.

Edit note: Spray brake clean on any area where you may spill brake fluid. The brake clean works great.
