Man can't have too many .22's.

It's nice to have the closest copy of your primary weapon in .22 LR for fun practice. If you want some excellent accuracy & the ability to easily change barrels to a larger caliber, you might want to consider a Contender handgun/carbine. You only have one shot, but it is super accurate & will teach you to only need one shot.

The Ruger 10-22 should probably belong in any collection & a nice lever-action like the Marlin or Winchester. The 10-22 can take about any configuration that you'd like & the lever-actions are just real nice classics that will retain/gain value.

What do you want to do?

Hunt & target = Contender

Spray & pray = 10-22

Play cowboy = Marlin or Winchester

Cant go wrong with the Marlin Model 60 or Ruger 10/22

Marlin model 60 DLX has a nicer walnut stock than the regular version but its a little more coin.

10/22 is like the SBC of guns, the aftermarket is just crazy loaded with goodies! not so much for the model 60.
