I just ordered a set of 255/60/15 MT ET street radials, and a set of 15X8 3.75" backspacing wheels. (hope all fits well).

I am running a 383 with approximately 450 hp / 450ft/lbs along with a Muncie M-21 and a 4.10 gear. Are any of you running this size tire? If so, how are they hooking up at the track? 60 fts?? Pics??
I've looked at the other posts about wheel/tire combo's but I see that most people are running a 275/60, just curious how the 255 would hold up...

Thanks all

I run the equivalent size ET Street and ran 11's with my 355" without any traction issues. When you get down to it, that extra .something of an inch will not kill you unless you have some killer engine!

I too run them on a 15x8" wheel with 3.75" b.s.

I run that exact tire with 15x8 and 4" b.s. You should be good with that fitment. 1.67 60's. No traction issues. My converter is what is holding me back.
