Does anyone have info on casting numbers that would be able to help with what vehicle this came from? Far as I can tell it's a 1987, but that's about it.

1987 would be the year. Haven't seen much more for vehicle id.

That's the only image I've been able to find. I'm at work so may run across to the Chevy dealer at lunch and see if they can figure it out.
Sooooo 7FAM points to an '87 pickup with a 4.3... here's hoping the claim by the guy I bought it from that the car he bought it from's claim of a rebuild is true.
LOL....I'm having the same hopes as you are with claims that were made about the powerglide I just bought.
