We’ll it’s been a few months since I’ve posted any updates on the car, but I took it for the first drive around the block the other day, I’ve been hustling everyday to get it to this point, still have a lot of work left to do but this is a huge step in the right direction.

Do you have weep holes at the low point in your exhaust?

Is the decklid fiberglass? I don't see a lock cylinder.

I started up the 78 Elk again today and it ran great. I hope to get time soon to install the Sniper EFI system.

Well had some horrible luck first pass at the track about a month ago, went 11.72 @ 117mph first pass off the trailer and the car lost brakes and went off the end of the track and into the woods, frame is bent pretty good, lots of dam he to be repaired but the car is fixable and is in the works now.

Been a while but I’ve started with a fresh frame I just picked up with a bunch of work done to it, tried to get the old frame straight and it didn’t work out so going to be starting fresh but there will be a bunch of progress on this cad again shortly!
