86 cutlass rear end?

What rear end would be out of an 86 cutlass that has a 2.53 posi and the rear still has all the tags on it. Theres a guy here asking $100 for the rear end, would this be an 8.5?

That would be a 7.5

Not unless it's from an 83-84 Hurst/Olds or an 85-87 442.

Or a 7.625 in some of them? (minus the cars Tommy listed) Cross reference the numbers/letters stamped on the passenger side front of axle tube to tell you what exactly it will be.
