I purchased a set of front drag shocks and the directions are pretty vague. It has settings for R(regular), F(firm) and XF(extra firm). My question is which one is 90/10, 80/20 and 60/40. What is used most for drag racing 90/10? If so what is 90 (slower rise?) and what is 10 (faster fall?)?

It depends on the brand. Comp and Summit were backwards, I believe the Summit had 90/10 as being extra firm. The 90/10 will have loose extension, stiff compression.

Yeah they are summit brand which I believe are comp eng. So 90 is faster rise and 10 is for compression?

Based on my experience, the summit shocks are not comps. The comps were a far better shock (i've had both). That being said, the comps are not a very good shock either. There are tons of better shocks out there. And yes they both adjust as stated above.

check out baseline suspensions, (sponsor link), at the top. great chassis info and they explain shock proportions for drag racing. all explanations are done in english, (for people like me who can't understand techno stuff). great site.
