Heh heh, I know I am just playin :)

I think you might find what you are looking for in a circle track catalog. I know they have some stuff for the "Metric Chassis" as they call the G-body.

Speedway has individual steering components. Basically, you get a rod & you weld all the attaching points to it.

I don't know if it matters on a drag car or not but when You start changing center links it changes bump steer and ackermann. You might check out some circle track chassis builders that still run stock front clips.
