Ok Im very aware that A 9" or a 12 bolt is the way to go.

But I own a 8.5 GN rear and as many of you guys know no
One is buying anything right now. And I am not a fan of giving
Things away.

So I plan on putting c clip-elim and aftermarket axels.
I have a stock posi unit that works very well so my
Question is should I keep my stock unit and add
28 spline axels and stock unit or should I try to sell my stock
Posi and go for a 30spine axle a a truetrack system.

I would like to hear what u guys are using in your cars.

I asked strange for advise and they are no help, they want to
Sell me a 9" with 35 spline axels!!
I have run high 10's with 1.49-1.52 60ft with stock axles for years
So how can after market axles not handle it?????

I plan on running Low 10's but I'm going to have to change from 4.10
To a 3.42. I am running out of gear with 75shot nos on 3.5 lbs of boost and I plan on adding more
boost.

Sbc 406, afr 195 heads, blower cam,weiand 177, 750hp, turbo 350, 3500stall, 4.10 gear

Thanks for your Input!!!

Best option would be to add Ford Housing Ends instead of C-clip Eliminators. The Elim's are prone to leaking, even the ones for Street use.
The Stock 28-spline Posi's sell regularly for about $200-$225 on TurboBuick site.
If you upgrade go with a 30-spline Eaton or Yukon DuraGrip & Axles
Quick Performance has very good prices on Eatons & DuraGrips.

I have a set of GM 3.42s I may be interested in swapping for your 4.10s. ;)
I bought a Posi w/Gears that were 'said' :^o to be 4.10s from a "Gary Abbey" on this site, of course He hasn't been heard from since. curse_sign.gif  guess He's back on Yellow Bullet scamming them.

I have the original set of 3.42 gears thanks though.

I was planning on using Stange street C-Clip Elim, I
Guess it's hit or mis with c clip elim. Some people
Have zero problems and some people hate them.

As for the ford ends, u have the price of the ends, labor welding
And new brakes, correct??

As for the Posi I have heard that The Truetrac was king?
I have a friend of mine that has it in his low 10sec mustang
Coup and it works great. I don't know anyone else other
Than on forums that use them.

With some you can retain the GM Brakes. Not sure about total cost, new Axles are also needed for Ford Ends. I'm sure it's more than just the Elims.

I spoke with a Tech guy at Eaton a while back & He said the TrueTrac was slightly stronger than the Eaton Posi but, I've seen several TT cases busted.
