Another Front Tire Question

I looking to buying a new set of front tire. I run drag radial tires on the street and slicks at the track.I had the VW 165's but I'm looking at other tires..So I looking at some M/T fronts( Sportsman) but they say you should not mix a bias ply with a radial.

So I'm looking at some advise at what everyone else is doing..I also cant find a good set of vw tires anymore, they all look like snow tires. If some one has a web site to go to that sells the metric tires,let me know

I've heard the same thing about mixing bias and radials. I did a little digging, and from what I can gather if you *MUST* mix them, run bias on front and radial on rear.*NEVER MIX THEM ON THE SAME AXLE. I'm only going to see limited weekend cruising with mine , and no corner carving so I am still going with the m/t bias 8 ply fronts.
