I recently had my 7.5 all rebuilt with a TrueTrac LSD, new 3.73 gears, TrickFlow diff cover, new bearings and brakes (i reused the Aluminum drums), backing plates, yadda yadda

I get a noise at 20-25mph like a clunky noise out of the rear so I took back to my guy who set the rear up & he discovered the axle is moving like left right up and down where the splines go into the TrueTrac.

Of course this was yesterday and the tech line is closed. We are not sure what to do...he mentioned thicker C-clips may help but dont want to jump to that yet.

The axles have 63k on them everything else is new

anybody else experience anything like this?

Why spend ANY $$ on a 7.5"? As others have posted, Trutracs have issues...
