Brake booster

I have a '78 Malibu coupe and I need to know if anyone knows if they came from the fastory with a single of dual diaphram brake booster. Any help would be great, thanks.

IRRC it could have had either, depending on drivetrain.

How can I tell? Car originally came with a 305, automatic and NO air conditioning.

I looked in the parts book and it was no help; there were 2 boosters available.

Have you found the build sheet for the car?

No build sheet.

It may be listed in my 80 production specs manual I have. I'll try to remember to look it up when I get back home after Christmas.
