brodix 11x heads

anybody have them? i am still looking for an extreme set of 23* heads, do they need shaft mounts for the street like the AFR's? looking to make big power on a 23* head, any other recomendations?

I'd check into the pontiac raised runner Nascar heads. They flow huge numbers and you can sometimes find them used on ebay. A buddy put them on a 406 (somewhat mismatched to his milder cam) I think they need thicker intake gaskets and a rail or more silcone at the end seals of the intake. BTW there is nothing pontiac about them!

Be careful with the with the 867 heads.You will have to use a a set of shaft rockers and offset lifters on the them in most cases because of the 40/60 spacing. All the ones we've used needed .180 offset lifters as well as .250 offset rockers like the Brodix 10x. & 18 degree stuff. Count the cost and check into what the valve train is going to cost before you buy them.
