I had been running 32 total on my car and decided to try more to see if it liked it. At 36 total car picked up 2 tenths and 1.5 mph in the 1/8th on motor so I'd say it did...Car is running 7.30's now at 95mph...Just a ol truck motor...........

well i have finally been getting clean passes out of the truck lately so i am going to try bumping the timing up a few degrees and see what it does. I will let you know how it goes.
Goin racin tonight, as i said earlier mine is currently set at 29 degrees. Im going to give it 32 and see how it likes it.

I dont know if it was due to the timing or not though. The temperature was about 30 degrees cooler than last time out, but it was very humid. The D.A. was around 1000', same as last time out. I bumped the timing from 29* to 33*. I run it locked out all the way from 800rpms. Here are the slips, tell me what ya think.

Nice man. From looking at the times, you 60ft'd better and picked up quite a bit in the 1/8th. Were your shift points the same? You might be running out of gear like me since the MPH for the 1/4 didnt go up. Either way, 11.85 is awesome. I'm planning on going up on Friday, hoping for that 11.99999999999
I was shifting earlier. I set my shift light at 6300ish vs the 6500 i had it at before. Before my shift light would be coming on through the traps, last night it wasn't. The truck felt like it was pulling alot harder through 1st and 2nd but that could have been because i havn't driven it in a month. lol
Whats the lowest you've run it at? I might hold off on turning it up even more just to see if it was the weather or not that aided in the improvement.
