Thanks for the info. I'll probably try to make some sort of bracket that uses the factory screws on the bottom of the pod. I really want to avoid drilling into a 20k mile dash pod...

I know what you mean but its not like my cars ever going to be original again. You can always find another dash pod, dye it and mount it to that one. Keep the original. Just a thought.
When I bought the 81 it had the smaller Autometer tach mounted to the side only much lower. Pretty much where Im going to mount it in my wagon.

Thanks. The seats are Monte SS buckets. The car had a bench when I bought it. These looked right and they were an easy install. Got the correct brackets from Mikes Montes.
