Local seller has Centerlines for $ 500 :

- two 15x6 inch rims - 3 5/16" back spacing
- two 15x10 inch rims - 4 7/8" back spacing

I have an 1981 Malibu with stock rearend and air shocks .

Will 215 / 70R15 and 295/50R15 tires fit with this backspacing ?

Thanks ,

Nitrojoe

I don't see the front being a problem, but I'm not sure the rears will fit without rubbing.

Thanks Tommy .
I'm going to do 295's on the back and get them tucked-in there .
Roll the lips , frame notch , whatever it takes .... just to have the biggest meats under there .
My 454 is going in there over the winter and I'm going to need all that tire
Cheers .

I have centerline rims that are I believe 15x8.5. The car also has 295/50/15 tires. They rub the passenger side frame on the back side of the wheel well slightly. Im in the process of frame notching to go with a 10 inch wide rim.

Hi , thanks for the info .
What backspacing will you spec for the 15x10 rims ?
