Anyone / everyone,
Putting together a 83 cutlass 1/8 mile foot brake car. Nothing special. Gutted car, sbc (350 hp), t-350, stock susp. other than boxing in the control arms, 3.73 posi.
I just picked up some Comp Eng. 3 way adjustable shocks off this site and wanted advice on where to "start" them when adjusting?
We have a crappy launch pad and we are at 5000 ft elevation.
Should I go all the way soft in front and med in the rear?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as a starting point.

I don't remember the "FF" "FR" lingo that those have stamped on them, but I would start with 90/10 on the front and 50/50 in the rear.

Thanks,
Just looked up the Comp. Eng. site and:

R = 60/40 front 50/50 rear

F = 80/20 front 40/60 rear

XF = 90/10 front 30/70 rear

So I guess I will start with XF in the front and R n the rear and go from there.
