try to twist/turn the headlight knob to the right. Plus i seen in your other post you replaced the headlight switch so that may be the culprit.

Did it happen after you replaced the headlight switch in the column and dash? Where did you hook the tach into (wiring)?
Sounds like a bad courtesy light door switch, or that circuit's shorted to ground somewhere...
