Crossmember for el caminos?

How come the jegster has a special note that the crossmember will not fit el caminos? I just emailed iceman about his crossmember, does anyone have experience with those? I want something that is stout and that will allow for dual exhaust.

Excellent. Is there a difference between malibu and el camino though??

the crossmembers are the same between the Malibu and El Camino.
