dash wiring

mt brother has a 78 malibu wagon and im replacing the dash with a dash from a 87 monte carlo ss, will the wiring from a ss work the malibu or do i need to use the wiring from the malibu? also will the malibu windshield wiring work with the ss dash or not?

It should be just about all the same. The wiring for the gauges would be different. But if your using the ss gauges you should be all set. The connectors on the radio may be a bit different
