I know that this has been posted through many other post but im kinda to split in the road. Im building a 83 wagon that will be a race only car, stock suspension and 500-600hp and dont know if i should go for a m/t et drag radial or a full slick. I kinda need the pros and cons of both and the way the car will react to each. Im sorry if im asking a repediative question but ive done some looking and cant find anything. Drag racing is a new thing for me, ive been around it a good bit and learned alot but i grew up in the ovals. thanks guys

Full slicks will be lighter, provide more wiggle room on initial setup, and will recover more easily. Radials will provide greater stability at the expense of rotating mass. My car is squeamish on an 8" rim, so I'm going to give the radials a shot.
