Flaming River kill switch questions

I have the Flaming River kill switch mounted in my trunk and i wanted to see what gauge wire is correct.Can i run 4ga. or is 6ga. enough?Also from alternator to trunk battery is #6 alright?I have 1ga.for battery to starter also.

Every one I have installed has been 4ga.
