I know this post is kinda old but I'm bored so here is what I did on my el camino

after a lot of hours of grinding to make those welds smooth (it was my first time welding), rewelding many areas and
then doing all the other areas of floor pans and then welding and grinding under the car and painting...... it took a LONG time, but it only cost me around $80 total a lot cheaper then new floor pans and I learned a lot about welding. sorry about the picture quality
