If some of you may have noticed I just got done doing the interior of my car. I bought a pint of Carmine Red special mix from Dixie Monte Carlo, well the color was pretty close as you can see in picture below. The pint color is whats on the lower part of door and A channel piece. Original color is the upper door Panel and dash. Today decided have to do steering column and did not have any special mix paint left, which cost 56.00 bucks. So I made a run to town to try to find something close, went to 4 stores bought can from each one that matched pretty close. Got home tried each one out and I could not believe how perfect of a match this one was. This paint is a perfect match and only $4 something a can. You can definately see the differance in the picture though. Hope some of you benifit from this awsome find.

Be careful, there are at least 2 shades of red in these cars, depending upon the year. Each has a different name.[/quote You are right there is two shades, this particular shade is for your Plastics not the vynal .
