holee krapp..............it appears that you addressed the lower shock mount issue. Other suppliers won't even acknowledge the problem with their product.

Looks nice!!

I wouldn't even consider purchasing a QP rearend. Looks home-made in someone's back yard compared to other offerings. Look at the Trick Chassis upper ears for the bushings..look as thick as a factory rears....compare that to the QP ones. Look at the QP coil spring mounts. Looks like they're tack welded in place. If I didn't already have a nice Currie rearend, I'd jump all over the Trick Chassis one. I just wish they would stop clogging up the "g-body" search for the Milwaukee area Craigslist search. I search for G Body stuff, and all that pops up is Trick Chassis stuff. Are you listening, lol.........

IS THIS WHAT YOU MEAN, READ FROM THE BOTTOM UP

""Yes, to my knowledge. Things may have changed but last time I looked around that was the case. This was brought up at our weekly meeting Today. We do have some ideas we are testing. At this point, it is a matter of cost and whether or not we will need to raise our prices to accommodate such a feature.

Thank you,

Good Morning Robin,
That is the way it is with an aftermarket rear
end for a G body, Standard or adjustable mounts.
Thanks,

on a rear axle & housing really?? Is this issue with the
adjustable lower mounts also ??

Thanks Robin

Hello Mr. Wolf,

Thanks for the interest in our

product.

The angle of the shock mount on aftermarket G

body 9" rear end housings has been a concern for
some

guys over the years. When I installed a 9" in my

Malibu, I simply put a piece of pipe on the shock bolt
and

bent it to obtain an angle I was satisfied with. I used

Dorman part # 31001. I have heard from a few customers
that

they have found a shock bolt somewhere online with an
angle

already in it. I can not say for sure where they got
them.

We recently designed an angled, weld on, threaded stud to

address this complaint. Unfortunately, the production
cost

for these parts has kept us from being able to offer
these

with our 9" Quick Performance G body 9"

housings.

If you have any other questions, please let me

know.

Thank you,
